Mataranka

We arrived at Mataranka and went to our booked accommodation and it was less than desirable. First thing first though was I needed to go to the supermarket to top up our pantry! While I was at the supermarket the lovely check out chick and I were chatting away and she suggested the Mataranka Homestead, it had the hot spring pool on-site so we wouldn’t have to all get in the car to travel to spring waters. So back I went to the van and after Col had set up, he then packed up lol we got a refund and went to the homestead. It was a very worthwhile decision, away from the town centre, a bar on-site with an awesome world record whip cracking show by Nathan Griggs. Our travel friends ended up coming the two so we got to catch up and spend a couple nights with them. The boys got some man fishing time in and the girls got some wine time.
